I've just figured out a way to make posts on individual pages! Ah praise my brilliance! But seriously I've posted a snippet from HathNoFury as a comment in my "Works in Progress" section if you'd like a taste. It's not the most convenient thing, I mean there are no post updates for it unless I mention it here...like I'm doing now...and you also can't comment directly on it--but this suits me just fine until blogspot can get it into their heads to change things a bit.
